Fractals is a 5 movement work for brass quintet (2nd trumpet doubling on flugelhorn) of graduate level difficulty. The piece employs a wide variety of colors, sonorities, tempi, and styles. The highlight of the work is the 4th movement which is a tuba solo.
This was performed first on May 24, 2015, in Acworth, Georgia by an exciting young brass group in the Atlanta area, The Spectacle Brass.
