DESCRIPTION
for Clarinet Choir
Grenadille du Trisque (follement) is a bouncy, fun, madly enjoyable work which features the Eb clarinet and 1st Bb clarinet players, while at the same time providing interesting and challenging material for the rest of the choir. The piece is scored for 7 voices (Eb, 1-2-3 Bb, Eb Alto, Bb Bass, Eb Contra Alto) with a Bb contrabass part in place of the Eb contra alto if desired. The piece was commissioned by Clarinet Madness, a community-based clarinet choir in Rapid City, SD, and is in the "difficult but playable" range for most college choirs.
